Welcome To Our Dream!

De Cuisine is a small and intimate restaurant located on the beautiful island of Anguilla. We created it to share our passion for "food artistry". The menu is small and chef-driven. It is ever changing to provide creative freedom and delicious surprises for our guests; always with great attention to seasonality and freshness of ingredients. We designed the interior and exterior dining areas to mirror the menu, in a way that creates an abmbiance of relaxed sophistication and artisitc expression. We chose to use many natural elements in the furnishings, right down to the artwork that was created by our chef using reclaimed wood and other repurposed gifts from the sea.

Our intention is to provide a high-end fine-dining experience in a comfortable and serene setting.

Your experience at De Cuisine is brought to you by the culinary stylings of Owner/Executive Chef Denise Carr

and the gracious hospitality of her husband Owner/Host With The Most Joash Proctor.

 

Denise worked as an Executive Chef in the Middle East, Las Vegas and San Diego, California before coming to Anguilla;

first as Executive Chef at CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa and more recently creating a successful Tapas and Cocktail restaurant. This time around, energetic and innovative Chef Denise, who’s coined the term “Food Artistry” to describe her approach, has decided to focus on fine dining.  She is continually inventing dishes and educating herself in the latest techniques. When she isn't creating at the restaurant, you might find her painting; or walking at the beach with her other loves, their brood of five rescue dogs.

 

Joash is a proud native of Anguilla with a love for hospitality. Originally he had a background in political science and social services, having held a number of positions working for the government of Anguilla. He is that friendly face that most locals recognize and stop to talk to. His union with Denise led to their first Tapas and Cocktail restaurant, where he quickly gained a reputation for being an excellent mixologist and host. His love of Denise's cuisine, knowledge of spirits and his signature "laid-back charm" keeps those restaurant guests smiling and always feeling welcome in his home. When he isn't greeting and mixing at the restaurant, you might find him at his other job (with the Government of Anguilla), or hiking around the island, often times participating in local preservation events.
